Welcome to my gallery/shop window - Please have a look around and enjoy my art.
I spent twenty-five very happy years as a ballet teacher, wishing I had the time to create pictures. Now, as I enjoy my retirement, I'm having a lot of fun painting and embroidering.
Most of my pieces are for sale, with proceeds going to www.therobgeorgefoundation.org.
For those of you who don't know me, art has become like a medicine for me. Our youngest son, Rob, died aged 21 of leukaemia in 2013. His last words to us were "Be Happy" and when I am making art, that is exactly what I am - sometimes a little frustrated, sometimes a little messy, but always happy! It truly helps keep the sadness at bay. The Rob George Foundation was set up in loving memory of Rob.

What's on my easel?
A real challenge - a commission to try and capture the garden of some dear friends from their chalet in Switzerland, So I tackled mountains, trees and a sunset all in one project.
We even ended up having to hire a van to deliver it!
